Moving to a new residence can be an unsettling experience for anyone, but especially for an older adult who has lived many years in one location. The staff at Oneida Heights, in Appleton, Wisconsin, recognizes this fact and empathizes with the older adult contemplating or making such a move. That is one reason why they work hard to maintain the warm, friendly and welcoming environment that puts an older person at ease. Our supportive environment makes this transition at a later stage of life an easier one than many think possible.

Centrally located

Located in one of Wisconsin’s fastest growing and most livable cities, Oneida Heights is close to Appleton’s downtown area and its abundance of stores and restaurants. The Avenue Mall, County Historical Museum, Public Library & Lawrence University. The Performing Arts Center, host to many musical and theatrical events open to the public, is just a few blocks away. Many residents use Valley Transit, the local bus service that stops just a few feet from our building, to take them out and about the Fox Cities. Others rely on the efficient Medi-vans, Kobussen Buses or other area services.

Comfortable building

Oneida Heights apartments are comfortable and as attractive and personalized as each resident desires. Maintenance problems are dealt with promptly: public areas are kept clean: coin-operated washers and dryers are available in four locations in the building: and a security system, allowing you to see who is calling on you, is in place. Parking stalls are available to residents with cars. During the winter months, snow is removed from walkways and driveways by our maintenance staff. Fire drills prepare our residents for emergencies, and the local police, fire and rescue personnel provide excellent service when needed.
